Heey my little muffins ~So, Being in Britain when you have an obsession with Japan culture and cosplay can be hard. I'm here to teach you all how to look like your favourite Japanese pop stars, idols, anime characters, vocaloids etc. But not look over the top and get made fun of for it.
I swear, British people can be mean when it comes to dying your hair green or wearing huge contact lenses because it seems weird or psycho to dress and/or look that way (personal experience there...)
Okay, I figured since yesterday I made one on how to look like Oliver, I may as well make a tutorial on how to look like the original hetalian of Oliver. This tutorial will be on how to look like the Hetalia, tsundere, hottie, Arthur Kirkland ~
Okie dokie, so . . . back to this . . . right! Clothing! Arthur being British himself he doesn't dress in a way that would appear strange to Britain,
unless he walks around in his pirate uniform . . .
then people might be a little concerned for your mental health unless it's fancy dress ^//^ heehee . . . ANYWAY! My point, dress casual. Arthur rarely over dresses unless he's in a meeting. So around school/college I'd say dress casual, don't wear a suit or overdress unless you're going for a college interview or meeting of some kind okay? So for both genders pretty much, I'd say wear a pair of comfortable jeans or trousers. In his punk teenage days he wore skinny jeans, whichever you feel comfortable wearing go for it. Heck, if you really want to you can wear a skirt (the girls i mean . . . please don't try that one guys . . .) If you were to wear a skirt, leave it to be informal, maybe just a knee length skater skirt or something, or even a dress. But one thing I wouldn't recommend is wearing a mini skirt/dress. I have the itching feeling that if he saw a girl wearing something mini he'd flip out, so it's the last thing I'd expect even from a gender bend really. So keep it knee length or longer. With the shirt, again, nothing glittery or sequin drowned, just something casual or even plain. Also, never over accessories (or however you spell that word . . . ), maybe just a necklace / bracelet / few rings, but nothing over the top. Again he's mostly seen as simple in the way he presents himself unless he feels the need to dress formal for an occasion like a meeting or maybe a date . . .Secondly, The hair. Arthur tends to have his in a messy, almost bed-head style, so boys, it's easy for you, just don't brush it thoroughly or effectively . . . maybe even at all . . . I have no idea how guys hair works heehee ^//^ can you tell I'm single? ^//~
So anyway, don't make much of an effort with your hair, same for girls. Maybe just throw it up in a ponytail or bun and straighten your bangs or side fringe. If you don't like it up feel free to have it curly, that's probably a good option as it doesn't take a lot to do, i don't think...but if you're like me and have naturally curly hair, just leave it like that and brush it lightly making sure to avoid ruining the curls in your hair. You can have it straight too, but again don't make it look 100% perfect unless you really want to as again, he doesn't make too much of an effort with his hair. (Although he still looks hot ^_~)
So lastly, make up and skin. I decided to combine these two steps seeing as they both probably need make up in general, unless your skin is clear . . . then lucky you ^_^ If not . . . well much like every anime character Arthur has flawless skin.
So use a light foundation and cover your face and partially down your neck to make it look normal. Apply a light layer of pale skin powder, and add an ivory or lighter shade of concealer over blemishes, wounds and such that you may or may not have on your face. Apply some concealer under your eyes where bags can be (or be seen) and just under the eyebrows to make your eyes look brighter. Again, Arthur is easy if you're a girl, just apply a thin layer of black eye liner on the eyelid after that and maybe some mascara. With the eyebrows being his trademark,
for a guy this could be classed as normal, but girls, I know what it's like to have eyebrows like England's, so um . . . if you're a girl please don't heehee ^//^So here you have it, How to look like Arthur Kirkland. I really hope you guys enjoyed this quickie.
If anyone has any requests, or recommendations then please email me or comment on my blog to say which character you'd love to look like.

Looking Like Oliver Kirkland ~
Heey my little muffins ~
So, Being in Britain when you have an obsession with Japan culture and cosplay can be hard. I'm here to teach you all how to look like your favourite Japanese pop stars, idols, anime characters, vocaloids etc. But not look over the top and get made fun of for it.
I swear, British people can be mean when it comes to dying your hair blue or wearing huge contact lenses because it seems weird or psycho to dress and/or look that way (personal experience there...)
Okay, This tutorial will be on how to look like the little 2p cutie of Hetalia, Oliver Kirkland ~
So firstly, The clothing. Now, Oliver has a tendency to wear cute, child like clothing. Mostly brightly coloured...or red.....depending on what he's done.. ^//^ heehee. So pink is usually a necessity or if you don't like pink, it doesn't suit you or you just don't want to wear it, that's fine, he also has a tendency to wear blue or any bright colour. His clothes are mostly simple, but partially layered. He's usually seen wearing a long sleeved white shirt under a sleeveless pink. So Wearing a waistcoat or sleeveless vest is usually the way to go. Again if you don't suit those kind of jumpers, just wear a zip up jacket or something, but again, make sure it's either pink or a bright/pastel-y colour like lilac. Try to wear a long sleeved shirt of a light colour under the jacket, waistcoat or sleeveless jumper. Oliver tends to dress a little feminine, no offence....but it makes him look so cute heehee. With trousers, he's usually seen wearing blue jeans, like this writing blue...he's also is known for wearing brown jeans or chino's which again make him look super cute. ~
Secondly, the hair. So if you're a guy it's pretty much ruffling it up and/or growing it out a little. He has blonde or strawberry blonde hair (down there) depending....
Or pink to match his attire (Down there)
So for girls like me, you can buy a wig, but that might get you strange looks....for a girl I wouldn't recommend dying your hair pink, red or blonde unless it's natural. If you're hair's naturally brunette, then leave it that way, just wear it cutely. Now to have hair like Oliver, you don't need to have it just like his, you just have to match it with the personality. So wear it cutely, put it half up, add a bow maybe..do whatever you think makes you look cuter.
Next step, the skin. Oliver tends to have freckly skin but uses make up to cover the freckles up.
Now, now Oliver, no need to hide those cute freckles~
So yeah, Oliver likes to hide his freckles, self concious I suppose, but you, if you naturally have freckles that's fine. Sometimes he doesn't even try to hide them . . . but he doesn't always show them, it's up to you whether or not you want to show off your freckles.
Next to the freckles, he has porcelain like features. His skin is clear, other than the freckles that sometimes show. Again, the skin is clear, he has no spots and his skin is pale. Use make up to make your skin so porcelain, or you can use the mask tutorial. Which ever you do, if your skin is naturally pale and clear, lucky you ~
If not..then use a light foundation and cover your face and partially down your neck to make it look normal. Apply a light layer of pale skin powder, and add an ivory or lighter shade of concealer over blemishes, wounds and such that you may or may not have on your face. Apply some concealer under your eyes where bags can be and just under the eyebrows to make your eyes look brighter.
Fourthly, the make up. So to look like Oliver is super easy. The eyes, well, living in Britain it wouldn't be smart to wear pink and blue swirly contact lenses. So if your eyes are, blue or green, great, that's pretty much the colour of his eyes, again depending..But if your eyes are brown or any other colour then that's fine too. Feel free to wear blue contacts if you really want to. If not, then that's alright . . . well Oliver's eyes are big. His eyes are cute and he has gorgeously big eyes. So to achieve this big eye look apply some white eye liner and/or eye shadow just under the eye. Rub the eye liner into the bottom of your eye to make the eyes appear wider. Apply a thin layer of black eye liner on the eyelid and make two fairly big flicks at the edge of your eyes to appear as fake anime like lashes.
So here you have it, How to look like Oliver Kirkland. Hope you guys enjoyed this. Since I act much like him, dress like and look similar, I love him so much . . . He's just so cute ~

Looking like Hatsune Miku ~
Hey there, my little muffins ~
So, Being in Britain when you have an obsession with Japan culture and cosplay can be hard. I'm here to teach you all how to look like your favourite Japanese pop stars, idols, anime characters, vocaloids etc. But not look over the top and get made fun of for it.
I swear, British people can be mean when it comes to dying your hair blue or wearing huge contact lenses because it seems weird or psycho to dress and/or look that way (personal experience there...)
Okay, This tutorial will be on how to look like the one vocaloid I'm obsessed with at the moment, Hatsune Miku. ~
Firstly, The clothes. No need to buy expensive cosplay or anything, just dress similar. Observe her usual clothing. Notice Miku doesn't over dress too much but still looks as though an effort has been made to look kawaii. She has a tenancy to stick with the flow y / skater skirts and knee length socks. Now, if you don't have much confidence (like myself),you can easily wear a pretty looking skirt and a pair of leggings or tights, the tops have a range usually. She tends to stick with casual yet effective tops, both long sleeves and short usually suffice, but she tends to sway more to the short sleeved shirts, but long sleeves can be acceptable as she still wears them every now and then. ~
Secondly, the hair. Bangs or a full fringe is pretty much necessary. Long hair isn't a necessity but it does help a lot with the Miku look. Now, you go to college or secondary school in Britain or somewhere where similar. Now anywhere you go with pigtails you'd probably get made fun of in some way. Now this is not what you needs, not to mention Miku doesn't always wear pigtails. Now it's usually her thing, but being from somewhere where that would be considered strange could cause you hassle and again, not something you need. It'll destroy your confidence. So don't dye your hair blue, unless you actually want to be seen as strange...but it's not really recommended by me, not to mention it's hard to keep in. So if you have dark hair, keep it dark, have light hair? Keep it that way. Miku's happy with the way she looks, you should be too. Now the hair can be however you like, I mean her hair isn't always in pigtails, sometimes it's down and sometimes not even blue, sometimes it's even as far as black. Again, just have it how you like it or maybe experiment with making a bow out of your hair, changing its usual style from straight to curly or vice versa. Go wild. ~
Thirdly, The skin. Now, Miku has a porcelain completion.
You have poor skin? Well, if you want that to end within a short amount of time, then follow this coffee mask tutorial to be rid in almost no time.
Oh? You're in a rush? Is it a school/college morning and you have about 10 minutes to make yourself look human? Well Grab some foundation either the same shade or a shade lighter than your own skin, being pale my complexion fits Ivory (not sure if there's a lighter one than that) but I've heard even on tanned skin Ivory can make you look naturally pale. Find the shade that fits you. Next add some concealer on your blemishes and under your eyes to give the eyes a brighter and more large anime like look. Blend, blend, blend! Blending is the key to natural looking skin. ~
Lastly, the make-up. The eyes are key! Now if you really want to go all Miku style, you can wear big blue contact lenses, or even better if your eyes are naturally blue. If you're not that lucky to have it natural and not willing to wear contacts (like myself) then leave them. Again, she's not always got blue eyes, sometimes she wears red contacts, black ones, I've even seen them brown in the odd video. No need to go so far as contacts or anything unless you really want to or aren't afraid of poking your eyes out (like I succeed in every time I try). So, you've either put in or not put in the lenses, the make up is a key feature. Now, if you've got the whole skin thing and everything else done, this is the last step, never do make up first, I learnt that the hard way...
So grab your black (liquid preferably) eye liner, brown eye shadow and white eye shadow. Apply a thin layer of white eye shadow above the eyelids, just under the eyebrows to give an even more bright look and feel to your eyes. Once you've done that apply a fairly thin layer of brown on the actual eye lid, make sure to not go over the eyelid and into the white, it can give it a more 'superficial'/fake look to your eyes and....well....your whole face. (again, I learnt that the hard way...) Now once you've applied both eye shadows, apply the black liquid eye liner on the top eye lid, as close to the eye as you can get without poking your eye. Make sure to have a fairly big flick in the corner of your eye to give the illusion of anime like lashes but not so big you look like a Cleopatra 'wanna-be'.
And there you have it, your Hatsune Miku look complete. Hopefully you guys enjoyed this, Not sure if I'll upload a picture of my Hatsune Miku look turn out with my face being ugly and all....self contious much? heehee. But either way, Many more of these to come if you guys enjoyed this one. If anyone has any requests, just comment or email me, okie dokie?

Vocaloid Voice Tutorial using audacity ~
Heeey my little muffins, so I've had a few of my friends request how to get you voice to sound like a vocaloid or an UTAU without using the official software or paying anything. They've heard some songs I've put together and I'm here to explain how to do this using audacity ^_~ Enjoy ~
Okay, so here, click on effects and choose vocorder (scroll to the veeeery bottom). The higher your voice or the effect on your voice, the higher quality you'll have of a robotic/vocaloidish sound (that's sooooo not a word heehee ^_~ ) A lower value on the vocoder would mean more noise.
By the way, I tested this any times and I find these settings give a more, vocaloid effect rather than a legit emotionless robot heehee ~
So these are the settings I use ^_~
Distance ~ 20
Output voice ~ both channels
Number of vocorder bands ~ 40
Amplitude of original audio ~ 68
white noise ~ 0
radar needles ~ 0 (they made it sound scratchy...teehee)
frequency of radar needles ~ 34 (although having it on 0 doesn't make a diff seeing as there's no needles...teehee ^_~)

Whoop ~ There it is, a mini tutorial on how to vocaloid your voice using audacity ~
I hope you guys enjoy your voca voices and actually understood at least a majority of that ^_^' heehee
